Canberra (Signadou Campus) SSA
The Student Association seeks to care for all its students in the many facets of Campus life and to take action on behalf of the students. These members represent the students on various Campus and University boards and committees. All members of the student body pay fees for the running of the SSA.
There are a number of on-campus facilities available to the students including use of the Common Room, which provides a place to work, to watch TV or to listen to music. It is located at the rear of the Blackfriars building.
There is also a Canteen, which serves fresh food, both hot and cold.
The campus has a swimming pool with change rooms and shower facilities. The pool is located near the Canteen. It is open between 8.30am and 5pm.
The Student Association is responsible for organising social events both on and off campus, promoting student involvement through BBQs, trivia nights, an End of Year Ball and many other activities.
Social events may also take place on the sporting field and incorporate sports such as touch, cricket, netball and inter-college rugby matches.
