McASA PORTFOLIOS

The McAuley Student Association is divided into 5 portfolios:

Sport & Recreation

NUC Athletics, Gold Coast Challenge, the Northern University Games (Queensland), The Australian University Games (Adelaide), ACU Snooker competition, ACU Golf Day, ACU Inter-faculty touch competition, AUC Snow Sports.

Spiritual & Social Justice

Bread-run (provide free bread for students) (Wednesday's), liturgies, student retreats, the Big Event (Brisbane)

Social Events

Start/End of Semester parties, Pub Crawls, the HUGE Annual Ball, ACU race days, ACU Boat Cruise and Movie nights..

Cultural and Community

ACU Alive (2007), ACU Art displays, live bands performances on campus, Easter Egg Hunt, The World Awareness Festival, Support ACU Choir, on campus drama performances.

Public Relations

The public relations portfolio concerns itself with the marketing of all events on campus.  The portfolio's weekly task is the publishing of the McAuley Mail newsletter which is distributed to every students' email account and is also available in hard copy from the lecture theatres.  McAuley at Banyo News
