Allied Health Clinical Placement Scholarship Scheme
The Services for Australian Rural and Remote Allied Health (SARRAH) has been appointed by the Australian Government to administer the Allied Health Clinical Placement Scholarship Scheme (AHCPSS). The scholarship will assist eligible scholars to undertake a clinical placement in a rural or remote Australian community.

Vision Australia’s Further Education Bursaries
Each year Vision Australia awards financial bursaries to tertiary students who are blind or have low vision for the purchase of adaptive technology such as CCTVs, laptops and screen reading software. Such technology enables easier access to course materials.
Vision Australia’s Further Education Bursary aims to assist clients who would not otherwise be able to afford adaptive technology, thus increasing their ability to participate in further education.
Since 1996, almost 150 bursaries have been awarded by Vision Australia to students studying a broad range of disciplines – from Natural Medicine to Music and Business

Finnish Government Scholarships – Centre for International Mobility in Finland
The Finnish Government, through the Centre for International Mobility in Finland (CIMO), offers scholarships for postgraduate studies, research and teaching at a higher education institution or public research institute in Finland.
Australians are eligible to apply for these scholarships which must reach the Finnish Embassy in Canberra no later than mid-January 2009.

Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP)
For Australians to study in the United Kingdom in 2009
The application round for doctoral study only in the United Kingdom from October 2009 under the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan is now open.

The Gates Cambridge Scholarship
The Gates Cambridge Scholarship is a full cost scholarship for students from outside the UK to pursue graduate study and research at one of the world's leading universities.
