Laurie Daniels Scholarship
The Laurie Daniels Scholarship was established through the ACU National Foundation and commemorates the life of Laurie Daniels, a founding member of the University Senate, an active supporter of ACU National, and a life-long advocate of Catholic education. Since 2006 this scholarship has supported students in the new School of Nursing (NSW & ACT) at Canberra Campus.
| Eligibility |
Students entering the second year of the Bachelor of Nursing after having successfully completed the Enrolled Nurse Bridging Course at Canberra Institute of Technology. Must be Australian citizens or have Australian Residency status.

The successful applicant will be awarded $2,000 each year across the second and third years of the Bachelor of Nursing program at Canberra Campus. The continuation of the support in the third year is dependent upon successful completion of studies in the second year of the program. |
Selection Criteria
- Credit Level or above in CIT Bridging Course
- Preference will be given to those in financial need. Applicants must provide a 200-word statement demonstrating financial need and use to which the scholarship may be applied.
