Archdiocese of Brisbane Theology Scholarship

(Established in 1997 by the Archdiocese of Brisbane to provide support and encouragement for postgraduate study in theology.)

1. The Scholarship will have a value of $1,000.

2. The Scholarship will be open to students who are resident within the Archdiocese of Brisbane and who are enrolled for any postgraduate theology course at the Brisbane campus (McAuley at Banyo) of the University.

3. Applications should include –

  1. a copy of the applicant’s academic transcript;
  2. a referee’s report from the Course Co-ordinator or research supervisor;
  3. a budget estimate and a statement of approximately 100 words regarding the proposed use of the Scholarship monies; and
  4. evidence of residence within the Archdiocese of Brisbane.

4. Up to three Scholarships may be awarded each year on the recommendation of a Selection Committee consisting of the Assistant Head and other full-time permanent academic staff of the School of Theology located at the Brisbane campus.

Applications for 2009 ACU Scholarships and Bursaries are now open and will close 5pm (AEDT) Friday 6 March, 2009.
