Learning and Development Program for General Staff

The Learning & Development Program for General Staff  is released by the Learning and Development Unit (L&D) at the start of each year. This lists the specific learning and development activities scheduled for the year together with a brief description of each workshop. Many of the activities included in this Annual L&D Program are drawn from the individual General Staff Learning and Development Plans.

The Learning and Development Program is designed predominantly to cater for the learning and development needs of General Staff. Where an Academic Staff member is also a Nominated Supervisor, they will be included in mandatory training for Supervisors.

Workshops are generally offered at all campuses. However, as a minimum of ten participants is required to make each workshop viable, some workshops will only be run if there is sufficient interest from general staff. Staff from a campus where there are too few applicants for a workshop are welcome to attend a session at another campus, with their nominated supervisor’s approval.
