Setting up your email signature

There are some important things you should know when setting up your email.  Firstly, the ‘signature’, or the part of the email that is standard on every email sent out, must include our registration numbers, known as the CRICOS numbers.   This is an explicit requirement of ACU National and it must be included as a part of your ‘signature’ on all of your email correspondence.  It is also a legislative requirement under the ‘International Students and the ESOS Act 2000’ which regulates international student communication.  Please take a moment to read the following link regarding the importance of this procedure.

Please note:  You will have to sign and acknowledge reading this information as part of your Induction when you first join the ACU.  It will be located in your Induction Checklist on Page 3 under ‘Other’ and the check box is titled ‘ESOS’.

Here is an example of what your email might look like.
