Minimum PC specifications
The current University standard software set is comprised of:
- Windows XP
- Microsoft Outlook 2007
- Micrsosft Ofice 2007
- Internet Explorer 6 & 7
- Innoculate Anti-Virus
The minimum recommended computer required to run these programs successfully is:
Windows XP Professional- Intel Duo Processor
- 2GB RAM
- 60GB HDD
When placing an order for a new PC, its specifications must meet the recommended hardware requirements. If the PC is to be leased it must be covered by three year onsite warranty.
New computers will have XP Professional as standard and should comply with the specifications as per the IT web page and may be leased or purchased .
