Video Conference

Welcome to Video Conferencing at ACU.

Video Conferencing is provided by the Information Technology Client Support Service.

This service is available Monday to Thursday from 8.00am – 7.00pm and from 8.00am – 5.00pm on Fridays.

Facilities

Our Video Conferencing facilities are split into three main areas;

Video Conference Meeting Room

  • Used for meetings or small lectures
  • Used for one to one or one to many conferences

Video Conference Lecture Theatre

  • Used for lectures to two or more sites
  • Conference can be recorded and uploaded to the web or on DVD

Video Conference Desktop Units

  • Used mainly for one to one calls
  • Equipment resides on the clients desktop
  • Client must purchase the software and hardware

Understanding Video Conference

We are aware that video conferencing is a new experience for most people. To this end, learning modules have been created to help you become familiar with the technology. These modules can be accessed by going to Video Conference Modules.

Booking a Conference

If you have any special requests ie: first time user, PowerPoint presentation etc, please include this in your booking request. If using or planning to use video conferencing equipment for the first time please contact your local Campus Coordinator who will be able to arrange a training session for you.
