Web-based Induction

This is designed to provide you with easily accessible, relevant and useful information which you can access in your own time. It is also designed to supplement the information gained at your Workplace Induction and University Orientation workshops.

Web-based induction has two components:

  1. it provides access to information generic to the University and to your local campus environment;
  2. it includes compulsory on-line training programs that all new staff are required to complete as a condition of your employment within the first three months of your employment with ACU National.
  3. It is your responsibility, as a new member of staff, to read and familiarise yourself with the material provided on the web.

    On-Line Compliance Training

    As part of ACU National's Compliance Training program, all staff are required to complete a number of mandatory on-line training programs within a specified time following their commencement at ACU National. Your nominated supervisor will allow time for you to complete these programs.

    For all these courses, your personal login and password will be sent to you within 2 weeks of your entry on duty at ACU National. If you are an existing staff member and you have misplaced your personal login, please contact the Compliance Officer on ext. 2590.

    If you wish to check your compliance, go to Staff Connect/My details/Training.

    From time to time, other courses will be added to the list.

    As a new staff member, you will be sent details of these programs, how to access each program, and the timeframe for completion of the program.
