Terms of Reference:

Subject to the direction and control of Senate, the Goals Committee shall:

  • embed the University's Catholic identity into its structures, functions and practices according to the principles of Ex Corde Ecclesiae;
  • address the many challenges of the University's Mission Statement;
  • interact with the University community in relation to the relevance and effectiveness of the University's Mission Statement;
  • work with the University community to stimulate and support initiatives which promote the unique nature of Australian Catholic University;
  • participate in endeavours to make the Catholic character of the University more publicly visible; and
  • consider any other matters referred to the Committee by Senate.
