ACU offers a wide range of scholarships and bursaries which provide financial assistance to students. Scholarships are awarded based on academic merit, while bursaries provide assistance to students who might otherwise be excluded or disadvantaged, by socio-economic, cultural or geographic issues.

The Australian Government Department of Human Services provide income support payments like Austudy, ABSTUDY and Youth Allowance to eligible people who are studying full time.
Austudy provides financial help to full time students aged 25 or over.
ABSTUDY provides help with costs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians.
Youth Allowance provides financial help for young people who are studying full time.
