Undergraduate

Standard Entry

To be eligible for entry to ACU undergraduate programs you must normally have completed Year 12 studies and gained an OP (Qld) or ATAR (NSW, ACT, Vic).

Mature Age/Non Recent School Leaver

If you have not completed Year 12 studies, you will be assessed on evidence of equivalent knowledge, skills, experience and/or qualifications, such as completing an ACU pathways program (associate degree, diploma or certificate), TAFE course or Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT).

STAT is an aptitude test designed to demonstrate your potential for tertiary studies and the tests are administered through the relevant Tertiary Admissions Centres. Your STAT results will be used to assess your eligibility for entry to ACU courses.

Admission to undergraduate programs is based on academic merit and selection is a competitive process. In addition you must satisfy any prerequisites or additional requirements specified for the program/s you apply for.

Minimum Eligibility

ACU has a minimum eligibility score that is acceptable for consideration for admission to any undergraduate course by any student, irrespective of origin.

It is important to note that attainment of the minimum eligibility score is calculated using any bonus points allocated through the relevant Tertiary Admissions Centre for reasons of disadvantage ONLY, but excludes any bonus points allocated under the accessACU scheme and/or ACU Elite Athlete Program.

Postgraduate

ACU offers a range of postgraduate coursework programs, including graduate or postgraduate certificates and diplomas, master’s degrees, professional doctorates and PhDs (Doctor of Philosophy) and the entry requirements are different for each course.

Standard Requirements

To be eligible for entry to ACU as an international student you must meet the academic entry requirements for diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate programs according to your country or region.

Language Proficiency Requirements

International students are also required to meet the University's English Proficiency Requirements prior to entry. If you do not meet our entry requirements, take a look at the Pathway Finder to see if there is a pathway program which is suitable for you.
